Eric Brown,
Associate Professor of English (PhD, Louisiana State University), teaches courses in British literature, including Shakespeare. He was a visiting fellow in Renaissance studies at Harvard University, and his publications include essays on Shakespeare, Milton, Spenser, Sidney, and Marlowe. His research interests range from film to the natural sciences, and he is editor of the book Insect Poetics, an interdisciplinary collection that theorizes insects in a variety of contexts. Among his current projects are a book on cinematic adaptations of Paradise Lost and an essay on sixteenth-century mousetraps.
