Jennifer Reid

Jennifer Reid, Professor of Religion (PhD, University of Ottawa), teaches religion classes. She is the author of Myth, Symbol and Colonial Encounter (1995), Worse Than Beasts: An Anatomy of Melancholy and the Literature of Travel in 17th and 18th Century England (2005), and Who Starts the Nations?: Collective Narrative and the Myths of Louis Riel (forthcoming) as well as numerous articles in the history of religions. She edited the volume Religion and Global Culture: New Terrain in the Study of Religion (2003).
