Wesley McNair

Wesley McNair, Professor Emeritus of English (MA, MLitt, Middlebury College), teaches poetry writing and modern and contemporary poetry. A recipient of grants from the Rockefeller, Fulbright, and Guggenheim Foundations, he has won the Devins Award for poetry, an Emmy Award, an NEH Fellowship, two NEA Fellowships, a Pushcart Prize, prizes from Poetry, Poetry Northwest, and Yankee magazines, and the Sarah Josepha Hale Medal. He has published several books, including poetry, essays, and an anthology of mixed genres.
